National Events - Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register for a
tournament? The
entry form for our North American Cups is located
here for download. Please print it out and either mail or
fax it into the National Office. Please don’t forget to sign
the waiver page and include payment.
Junior Olympic Championships and the Summer National
Championships have different entry forms. They will be posted
to our website when they are available.
How do I know the USFA
National Office received my registration?
Included in the registration form is a “Fax or email
Confirmation Sheet”. Complete this sheet and include it with
your entry. Upon receipt of your entry, the USFA National
Office with date stamp it and fax it back to you, or email you a
confirmation of receipt. Please remember we have 3-5 business
days to get your confirmation to you. Keep this confirmation –
it is your proof that we received your entry.
The fax machine is busy –
now what?? Well,
we can use up to 5 reams of paper (that 2500 sheets) a day
during the last 3 days before a deadline. Our fax machines are
that busy! They are working – please keep trying. This can be
avoided by getting your entry in earlier.
I am trying to talk with
someone in National Events, but I can’t get through to a real
person. The
National Events phone is very busy throughout the tournament
season. If you have a question, leave a voice message and we
will call you back (719-866-4511). If you need an immediate
answer, email the question to:
or Please do not leave a
message at every extension in the office. It only slows the
process and creates confusion for everyone.
Do I have to check in at
the tournament?
Yes, you must check in during your specified time or you will be
disqualified. If you have entered more than one event, you must
check in for each event during the time specified.
My name is not posted on
the USFA website for the tournament. Only those entries that have
been successfully processed will be posted. Any entry received
that has an issue, such as a credit card payment that failed,
will not be posted. If you have submitted your entry and your
name is not listed on the USFA website, contact the office
immediately. This is another good reason to get your entry in
to the office early.
What time will the
tournament end each day? There is no way to determine
when the tournament will end each day. If you are competing and
plan to leave after your event, make your departure arrangements
for the following day.
When will the check in
times be posted on the USFA Website? The USFA Tournament
Committee provides the check-in times to the National Office
after the tournament deadline. The National Office then sends
the information to the website to be posted.
I am new to the USFA

I contact?
